Bloom Institute of Technology (BloomTech), launched in 2017 as Lambda School, is a for-profit coding bootcamp providing massive online courses. It initially offered income share agreements for financing but deceived students on costs, made false hiring rate claims, and engaged in illegal lending. After layoffs and cost-cutting, it transitioned to a MOOC model and refocused on traditional student loans. No role in semiconductor or AI supply chains.
